Clean Fix Pro Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 6, 2026
Purpose and Scope of the Policy
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") aims to clearly and transparently explain how we (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Developers") collect, use, store, share, and protect the personal information you provide when using the Clean Fix Pro app (hereinafter referred to as "the App") and related services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services"), and to inform you of your related rights. This Policy applies to all versions of the App and all functions and services provided through the App. Our Services are primarily intended for individual users and users using the App for non-commercial purposes.
Policy Effectiveness
This Policy, together with the Terms of Service of the Services you use, constitutes the complete agreement between you and us. Once you begin downloading, installing, accessing, or using our Services, it indicates that you have fully read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all the contents of this Policy and its Terms. If you do not agree to any content of this Policy, please immediately stop using the App and related services.
Policy Update Mechanism
We may revise this Policy from time to time based on factors such as business development, changes in laws and regulations, or technological updates. Any updates will be updated with the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and will be communicated in advance via in-app notifications, official website announcements, etc. If the update significantly impacts your rights, we will provide more prominent notification.
The updated policy will apply from the specified effective date. If you continue to use our services after the policy update takes effect, it indicates your agreement to accept the revised policy. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you have the right to choose to discontinue using this application and related services.
Information We Collect
The information we collect strictly adheres to the "minimum necessary" principle, limited to information essential for achieving the core functions of this application.
(I) Necessary Information Collected
This information is necessary for us to provide you with core services such as file cleaning. Your refusal to provide this information may result in our inability to provide services normally.
Basic Device Information: This includes your device model, operating system name and version, and a list of running processes on your device. This information is only used to identify cleanable redundant files, ensure functional compatibility, and guarantee the normal operation of the service, and is not directly related to your personal identity.
File Scanning Information: When you use the cleaning function, we will scan for redundant files (such as cache files, temporary files, installation package remnants, etc.) that may exist in your device storage. This process only collects metadata such as file type, storage path, size, and last access time. We promise never to collect, upload, or store any file content itself, such as your photos, videos, documents, chat logs, or other private data.
Application Usage Data: This includes your operation records for using various functions and anonymized fault logs generated during service operation. This information is only used for statistical analysis of function usage frequency, optimizing application stability, diagnosing and fixing program errors, and continuously improving service quality.
(II) Optional Information Collection
The collection of this information requires your explicit consent. You can manage or toggle related permissions at any time in your device's system settings or the application's "Settings".
Storage Permission Related Data: When you grant this application permission to access device storage, this permission is primarily used to implement core file scanning and cleaning functions. As mentioned above, we will only access file metadata (such as type, path, and size) and will never collect, upload, or snoop on any file content itself (such as photos or document content). You can manage or revoke this permission at any time in your device's system settings, but this will result in some core functions being unavailable.
Feedback Information: When you proactively contact us to report an issue, we will collect your submitted opinions, suggestions, complaints, and any contact information you may leave (such as your email address) so that we can promptly address your problem and communicate with you.
Advertising Identifier: To support the free services of this application, we may collect your device's advertising identifier with your explicit consent. This identifier is used to: show you advertising content that better matches your interests, improve ad relevance, and analyze the frequency and effectiveness of ad delivery.
Important Note: Advertising is a significant source of revenue for this application to maintain its free services. Disabling the personalized use of the advertising identifier means that the ads you see will no longer be "personalized ads" based on your interests, but may instead be "non-personalized ads" based on generalized information such as context and device type. However, this will not prevent the ads from being displayed. You can manage this by resetting or limiting the advertising identifier in your device's system settings (usually in "Privacy" or "Google Settings").
(III) Information Not Collected
We solemnly promise that we will not proactively collect or request the following information from you:
User File Content: Including but not limited to photos, videos, audio, documents, contacts, SMS messages, chat logs, emails, and all other private file content stored on your device.
Sensitive Personal Information: Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you proactively provide it and have obtained your separate explicit authorization, we will not collect your ID card number, precise geographical location, health information, biometric information, or other sensitive personal information.
Information Collection and Use Methods
Collection Methods
We collect information through the following methods:
Automatic Collection: During your use of the service, we automatically collect necessary device information and usage data through the Application Programming Interface (API).
Third-Party Tool-Assisted Collection: We may integrate industry-recognized third-party statistical analysis tools (such as Google Analytics, with data anonymized) to help us analyze application usage. These third-party tools will process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Purpose of Use
We will only use your information within the following "necessary scope" and will not use it for purposes unrelated to the service:
Providing and Maintaining Core Services: To fulfill our service commitments, we provide you with core functions such as file cleanup and background process management.
Optimizing Application Performance and Feature Iteration: Based on anonymized usage data and fault logs, we analyze user behavior patterns, fix program errors, improve existing functions, and develop new functions.
Responding to User Inquiries and Feedback: We communicate with you regarding your questions, complaints, or suggestions and provide solutions.
Compliance and Security: To fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations and protect our services, systems, and users from security threats such as fraud and cyberattacks, we may conduct necessary data analysis and security monitoring.
Personalized Advertising: Based on inferences about your personal interests or characteristics, we will show you more relevant advertising content.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal information and will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any unrelated third party for their independent marketing activities. We may share your information only under the following strictly limited circumstances:
With your explicit consent: After obtaining your separate, written (including electronic) authorization.
Necessary third-party service providers: To achieve the purposes described in this policy, we may entrust trusted third-party partners to provide services, such as cloud storage service providers, data analytics service providers, advertising service providers, etc. We will only share your information for legitimate, justifiable, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes, and will require third parties to strictly comply with our instructions, this policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures in processing information through contractual obligations or other means.
Compliance with laws and regulations: When we have reason to believe that we must comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to legal documents, subpoenas, or investigation requests from judicial authorities, regulatory agencies, or other competent authorities.
Protection of legitimate rights and interests: When necessary to protect the personal and property safety, legitimate rights and interests (such as intellectual property rights) of us, you, or other users from infringement, or to prevent serious illegal activities or respond to security emergencies.
Changes in company structure: In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset transfer, or similar transaction, your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will require any new company or organization holding your personal information to continue to comply with this policy; otherwise, we will require that company or organization to obtain your consent again. We will notify you of any changes through announcements or other means.
User's Data Rights
Under the GDPR, as a data subject, you have the following rights. Please note that the exercise of some rights may be subject to statutory limitations. For example, if required to fulfill legal obligations or assert legal rights, we may not be able to fully comply with your deletion request.
Right to Know and Right to Access: You have the right to know how we process your personal data and the right to obtain copies of our personal data about you and information about its processing.
Right to Correction: You have the right to request that we promptly correct any inaccurate personal data about you.
Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): Under certain conditions (e.g., the data is no longer necessary, you withdraw your consent, the data has been illegally processed), you have the right to request that we delete your personal data.
Right to Restrict Processing: Under certain circumstances (e.g., you question the accuracy of the data, the processing is illegal but you object to deletion, we need the data to assert legal rights but you need the data to be preserved), you have the right to request that we temporarily restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right of Data Portability: You have the right to access your personal data, which you voluntarily provide and which is processed based on your consent or contractual obligation, in a structured, general, machine-readable format, and to transfer it to another controller.
Right to Object: You have the right to object to data processing based on our legitimate interests (e.g., for direct marketing) on grounds relevant to your specific circumstances. You have the right to object at any time to personalized advertising processing based on your consent, which can be done through device settings.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time for processing that is entirely based on your consent. This will not affect the legality of processing based on consent prior to withdrawal.
Right Regarding Automated Decision Making and Profiling: You have the right not to accept decisions that are legally binding or have a similarly significant impact on you based solely on automated processing (including profiling).
How to Exercise Your Rights
If you wish to exercise any of the above rights, please contact us at [email protected] to make a request. For security reasons, we may require you to verify your identity. We do not charge any fees for reasonable requests. However, for requests that are clearly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to process them in accordance with the law. If you believe that our data processing violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of the EU Member State in your habitual residence, place of work, or the place where the alleged violation occurred.
Data Storage and Protection
Storage Location
Personal information we collect may be processed and stored in your economic zone, other countries where we have service facilities, or where service providers exist. We take appropriate legal, technical, and organizational measures to ensure that your personal information receives the same level of protection as in the country of origin when transferred across borders.

We retain your personal information only for the shortest period necessary for the purposes described in this policy and for the time limit required by laws and regulations. After the retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.
